This calculator was created mainly for the RF Engineer and RF Technician in the Wireless Telecommunications Industry. Many times you find yourself at a cell site troubleshooting and needing to convert dBm to Watts or figuring out output powers. This handy calculator does the most common calculations needed. It also helps on Field Surveys or Site Visits where you may need to determine the antenna height on a roof to clear the roof edge if there is a minimum requirement of distance from the roof edge. Or you need to determine how much loss you are getting from a coax line based on feet or meters.

Have all of these calculators readily available in the palm of your hand. No more having to wait to use your spreadsheet on your laptop, or a reference sheet you need to carry with you, or use a website to do these calculations, especially if you are in an area with poor coverage, which happens a lot because its your job to fix it.

The upgrade includes the following tools:

1. LTE Ref Signal: to determine the LTE output Reference SIgnal Power dependent on Bandwidth.
2. Frequency Delta: Difference between a High Freq vs a Low Freq, for example the RF strength difference between 1900 MHz and 850 MHz is 6.99dB
3. dB dividing will give you the output power when you use a splitter or the per channel power when you add more channels to a composite power.
4. Roof Edge Clearance Tool: will give you the antenna height required for the RF to clear the edge of the roof, given that the antenna must be placed a specific distance behind the roof edge.
5. Wavelength: will give you the Lambda wavelength of a frequency, which can be used to determine antenna separation for RF Diversity
6. Free Space Loss will give you the amount of loss you get when moving away from the RF source.
7. VSWR & Return Loss will give you those values based on RF power and reflected power.
8. Cable Loss: will determine the amount of loss you will get a specific coax length.
9. Pilot/CPICH: will give you the pilot power at a specific percent.
